Seriously! I ask myself this every night when I feel I have accomplished nothing, then realize the children were bathed, fed and educated so something did happen.
My point: Today while doing science with Chloe, she starts reading at a shout. So, in my serious voice, I reply, "Chloe you don't have to read so the loud. The neighbors don't really care to hear about the antelope." Now, I thought I'd get a pout then we would continue on. Did that happen? No. The uproar of laughter of my two girls filled the room and continued for about four minutes. I ask you, "What was that funny?" I'm still not sure, but they thought it was a hoot. Chloe laughed so hard her eyes teared up. So I'm guessing that will, for a while, replace "the grocery store".
Tomorrow I'll try to not be so funny!
