I post here often how tired I am. I post here often about how much we need to do and how much I'd like to do. Five years later, we are still going to Taekwondo two nights a week. We take library trips weekly, which are lengthy because the girls like to talk to each and every librarian. We have park play days (though not as many as they would like when it is cold). We have Nature Class at Clemson Ext. several times a month. Now, they are wanting to do a homeschool drama class. And so many other field trips we could take! But let's face it, sometimes you have to hit an actual book! It still amazes me when I am questioned about socialization.
Well, aren't you afraid when they get out in the world they won't know what to do? Really? Mine are in the world...almost daily. And they get along great...with everyone (no matter age, sex, religion, etc.). They love new things, maybe not at first, but how many kids do at their age? They still try it (then usually love it). They try new things, new foods, and often new friends.
I hate to say it, but I have come to laugh at the question. I hope these people do not think I am laughing at them. I'm not. But after five years of doing this, being exhausted from constantly being on the go, I do find it funny the first question is always about socializing.

I know! You tell it!
I so get what you are saying! That's the first thing people ask us and before walking away from the conversation they comment on "How Social Tyler is!" He's been that way from the day he was born! He's never met a stranger. Megan less so, she's just content wherever, however she is but Tyler must have followers!
Funny we met a kid the same age as Tyler the other day when we were out flying and the boy was terrified to talk, he would nudge his grandma to answer for him. Tyler did all that he could to get the boy to play. The boy attended a local public school and while he seemed friendly he acted as if he'd never been around a person in his life.
It's quite funny how fast people are to stereotype!
