The desks went together so easily! It took a couple of tries for us to figure out how to set them up, but this is where they are for now. We may have to tweak it next week when school starts back. We'll see.

By having the desks angled this way, I think they will both have good light on their desks. Fingers crossed. The only thing I'm concerned about is the fact that I am behind them. We do oral drills everyday in English, spelling pre-tests and tests, and history map work may prove to be problematic with me behind them. Then again it may not be a problem; we'll know next week.

While both girls could see the board before, they had to turn sideways. Now, they just look up at the board.

I like it. Well, if all three desks are facing a different direction, perhaps it'll be less of a distraction if everyone is working on something different individually.
I'm hoping it works okay, Courtney. It is hard to know until we get back to our schoolwork.
