I'm not sure why today I have an overwhelming sense of amazement regarding our girls, but I do. Today has not been out of the ordinary. We left early, very early, for the commissary. There they helped me get the items I passed, or were not on my list. They chatted with the ladies in the meat department (who adore the girls' senses of style). Each person they spoke with asked if Chloe was feeling better, and each person was met with a smile and sincere small talk.
They helped unload the car, then put away the groceries so I could water all the plants before it got too hot. They took the dogs outside to run them. They collected more school work (they did some on the way home from the commissary), and we were off again. They were pleasantly talkative at our favorite local toy store (Chloe need more loom bands).
They patiently waited for me to talk to our favorite "lunch lady" at the Arby's drive-thru. Somehow, I have no clue how, we got onto the subject of taekwondo. I was telling her we are starting new classes tonight, then gave her all the information. (My business cards were at home because I removed them to clean out all the coins. Of course!) Did they complain they were hungry? Did they complain their food was not hot? No. They ate. Then they took the dogs out again so they would be tired while we worked on school work.
Then they finished all their school work by 2:30, even with all the running around. I am simply amazed by them.

They are certainly amazing and talented girls! And, their mom isn't so bad either. ;)
Aw! Shucks!
Can they teach that to my boys?
