It has been an interesting week. We had drama class,
TKD, and art class. Tonight we went to
Edgefield. It is a Korean custom to visit your loved one's grave on the anniversary of that loved one's death. So, we met the family at the grave. Chloe received her
Rasta hat (a Jamaica colored hat with fake dreadlocks attached) today and has worn it all day...even to the grave. Well, everyone immediately noticed Chloe's new look with the exception of one person.
Apparently, Grandma Morgan was so focused on the ceremony she didn't notice. That is until Chloe went up to give Grandpa some fruit (part of the ceremony). I thought she was going to faint. The look was priceless and I wish I had my camera (being at the
cemetery I didn't think it appropriate to take pictures). We all laughed for several minutes. It was just so funny!!
Happy birthday to Mari! We missed them tonight, but I have to admit I think it is a wonderful thing she was celebrating her birthday rather than a death. I hope Sonny takes her off for the weekend every year! So, HAPPY BIRTHDAY MARI!!!!!!!!!
