John and I originally wanted to go somewhere this weekend to celebrate our anniversary. However, seeing as how tomorrow is the last drama class and they are performing their play we could not really go anywhere.
So what did we do this weekend? Friday night we went to a friends birthday party. They had a silly string fight, played "Red Rover", made bracelets and of course ate cake and ice cream. The girls had so much fun and I had a chance to try out my camera more.
Saturday we waited for the rain to stop then went out shopping. We went to Ross for the first time. I have to say I would have enjoyed it more if I could have found one specific dress in my size. I loved it, but it was a bit too tight. Oh, well. It was not meant to be. :( Chloe found a dress and Jesse found a new top. I did not come away empty handed though; John bought me a new softball bat to keep next to my bed. He said I should be able to hurt someone pretty bad with that one. ;)
Today, we took the girls to Fort Jackson to play on the playground. Then we had a great picnic. We are currently making bread (waiting for it to rise) and we made a few cookies. I think we need to go upstairs and work on cleaning up the classroom table, but we'll do that in a bit.
