A bit of this and that

We took Morgan home yesterday. The difference was noticed by all of us, but we are hoping she'll come again sometime.

I was hoping we would start school again today, but I had many errands to run this morning. We haven't been to the commissary in more than three weeks. Yep, we needed food!! Then I had to make a bank run and well, TKD is tonight so that is pretty much our day. I know we have a couple of hours yet but there were some things I was suppose to accomplish and have not yet. Maybe Thursday. Wednesday we are going to Wendy's for a special treat. She is having an author come from Greenville, SC, to read to the kids. I believe it is being sponsored by iVillage. The girls are really looking forward to it.

I haven't mentioned it here yet so I'll go ahead and get it out of the way. On top of instructing TKD, homeschooling, being a homemaker, I am now an Avon Lady. Most will not be surprised, though I kind of am. I've been tolling with the idea for a few years then John said, "You won't know until you try. So just try." And there ya go! I have to say I am enjoying it (it has been a whole month! lol). But it is adding to everything else I'm having to keep in my head. I'm hoping in the long run it will help my brain work a little better.

Jesse had a great birthday yesterday. We went to one of her favorite Chinese restaurants for lunch. Last night she got a big cookie (instead of a cake). She has recently developed a love for shoes. And for a girl with one pair of flip flops to wear and nothing else being in love with shoes seems odd. We recently bought her some very cute (and grown-up looking) brown sandals. So with her Target gift card she bought a new t-shirt with shoes on it. We got her a Wizard of Oz snow globe that reads "It must be the shoes." She seems to be quite happy.

I suppose you could say the Morgan household is back to normal. Though I believe "normal" is the same as "chaos" for us. lol
