I have to admit lately I've felt a little lonely in this blog world. I started this blog partly because so many of my friends had one and I thought it was a great way to keep up with our crazy lives. Now so many have stopped (or just rarely write) for so many reasons. Here I sit wondering what makes our life interesting enough to continue. But I know my parents come here to read about things I may have neglected to tell them on the phone. Some of John's family read every once in a while. And some of my friends still drop by here for a visit. No, I don't plan on stopping, I just miss being able to read about everyone else.
On we go.
This week like all of our weeks has been a bit crazy. We still didn't start school back this week, but I believe we will this weekend since John is working and the girls and I have a few errands to run today. I still need to put words into Spelling City so they can continue with spelling. I also have not sent in our paperwork to end last year. That too needs to be done today.
A scary note. Master Mike was talking with me last night and he said he wants me in a "black jacket" by January. For those who don't know, a black jacket (for Master Mike, because all dojos are all different) means I will be a full instructor. Before I can get that jacket I have to not just know all nine colored belts but know all the stances. I also have to take a written test and create my own white belt form. Of course, when he told me I laughed at him. :) So, last night he made me learn one of the green belt forms. I don't even know if it is high or low! lol That puts me at four forms (though I'm still working on stances with three of them). I already knew the three forms I help teach. We'll see where the pieces fall come January.
The girls have had a good week. But I suppose that goes without saying since they didn't have school this week. We took them twice this week to use their gift cards they received for their birthday. Jesse has already bought "Savvy" by Ingrid Law and is now waiting for "Scumble" to come out in a couple of weeks. It is the continuation of "Savvy". Chloe found herself an Eiffel Tower shirt at Target. Both girls are very happy!
John is doing well. He is very excited still about the present he bought himself. A riding mower. The mowing is all his now and the weed eating too. He has already mowed twice and he has only had the mower a week yesterday. He's happy too!

I'm sorry you're feeling lonely out here. I hope to get a blog up soon!
I know you'll be great as a 'black jacket!!'
We need to get together sometime again soon :)
Don't stop blogging! When I have a minute at the library I check on everyone even if I don't comment every time. I miss being able to blog regularly, but I hope I can get back to it asap. Black Jacket! You go! I know you will be great!
Miss you all!
