What a day!!
For Chloe's science experiment, we made homemade butter. Yep! Butter. I told John, last week, we were going to do it and he was very skeptical. However, tonight I've found him taking butter from the dish, to eat out of the container, two different times. The girls didn't like it plain (no salt added), but they loved it on toast and decided we should make our own from now on. :)
Tonight was graduation at taekwondo. Chloe earned her third degree black belt tonight. Proud does not cover how I, we, feel about it. I remember how excited she was when Master Mike told her she could start in April (rather than waiting for her birthday in July). Of course, she wanted me to start with her and look what that started!
Tonight was the first night Master Mike asked me to sign the certificates. I've taught the white/yellow belt class for a year now and this was the first time I signed the certificates. I was so EXCITED!!! Also, starting Tuesday the "colored belt" class will be mine. In other words, I'll be the lead instructor, which reminds me I need to review some things. lol
Jesse spent the night at the table because she completed all of her mid-terms and will not graduate to fourth degree for quite some time. But she had fun helping Master Mike with our white belts students names. She kept giggling at Master Mike (and shaking her head).

It sounds like a fun night! Congratulations, Chloe! I know you've worked hard to get there!
That was a nice surprised from MM :) Don't forget to review some forms!
Third degree??? I can remember when she first started, too. Wasn't that, like, last year?
Congratulations, Chloe!
It WAS a good night, Wendy!
Courtney, can you believe how long it has been?! My girls still talk about "when the Sanchez's were there". lol
