Planning

If you know me at all, you know I'm a planner! I plan things constantly. Do I follow through on everything? Well, no. But I at least had a plan. lol

This time of year I tend to drive myself a bit crazy. While I need to finish grading this year's papers, I still have to plan out next year's work. Are we going to change our approach to science? Do I want to add in science workbooks? Have I ordered all the books that I know we need? And my biggest question, always, are the girls learning?

I have ordered all the books. And after a week of laboring over the science question, then discussing it with John, we are going to stay on track with our science as it is. The science workbooks are still up in the air. But I'm leaning toward getting them. Science now has a schedule for next year.

Jesse's history now has a schedule, though I'm not sure if I should have her read a book from all the chapters or not. Between the history books (112-226 pages per book) and her reading books (probably the same but have not looked them up yet). I think she is only going to be reading. I really want Jesse to finish Story of the World IV next year (she'll start it next year too). I know it sounds like it should be easy, but if I follow the book then we tend to take one-and-a-half years to complete one book. I need to spend more time thinking on this one (like I have "more" time).

Chloe's schedules are easy! I pull up the ones I made for Jesse. Whew! That was difficult! LOL 

There is so much going on right now. I am hoping we finish school on June 4th. Personally, I'd love to have my birthday "school free". Most years I'm so worried about getting everything done I just don't fully enjoy myself.
