Today was eventful. We spent the morning cleaning. We picked John up for lunch, then we stayed for awhile so I could help him a bit with his payroll. We finally got back about 2:30 to work on the classroom. The classroom table is now clean and I've gone through all the work for tomorrow. I believe we are ready for school.
Chloe is very excited about starting first grade. Jesse, on the other hand, is not so thrilled with the prospects of third grade. I'm hoping Jesse will enjoy the chemistry experiments.
School will be a short week this week, only three days. Today was John's scheduled Monday off but he had to do payroll so he is taking off Friday. We'll get our feet wet with a short week, then next week we'll take Chloe's birthday off. We will ease our way into school as we always have. We start early so we have time to take time off during the holidays and anything else that may come up. I like having a buffer of a few days in there because something always comes up.
