I wanted to post yesterday afternoon, but things get crazy about 3pm in the Morgan household on TKD nights. Yesterday was no exception. Yesterday was our first full day back to school. Almost everything was completed (I knew we wouldn't get it all done because of the errands), but we did well. It was also our first day doing Spanish. We are using Rosetta Stone, and my friend Amy is sending us information from her new Spanish class she is teaching. Jesse finished her first Core Lesson. Honestly, I didn't expect her to get through it all. She still needs to go back and redo a few lessons but she did good from what I can see on my checklist. Chloe didn't finish the entire lesson (I am only giving them twenty minutes a day) but she did great on what she did. I did find her having a problem with "come" (long o sound and the "e" is a long a sound). So that is one she'll have to go back to do again. All in all they loved it!
TKD was grueling just as I suspected. And to make things worse Mr. May (Matthew) was there. He is our fourth degree black belt that has been with MM since Matthew was like ten or something. He is now twenty and his favorite pass time (just ask him) is torchering me with the most insane exercises you could imagine (he learns them at the Citadel). He grins, no smirks, at me the whole class. But he's sweet, other than that. lol
The girls are hoping for snow, but realize they probably won't see any. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for them.
