Forgot to mention

I guess while I was typing last night I became a bit overwhelmed thinking of all the projects that are left in the yard. Then I forgot to mention the most awesome thing that happened yesterday. After planting the hibiscus, John and I were sitting in my "birthday chairs" (we call them that because I bought them with my gift card my parents gave me for my 'birthday') when I noticed, for the first ever in this house, a male cardinal in the backyard!!!! I was so excited! I now have a place to put my bird feeders; I just need more seed. I cannot wait to see what kind of birds will come...I just hope I don't wind up feeding the cats instead!!! lol
