Beautiful morning

We have put school lessons off until this afternoon. The morning was just too nice for the girls to stay inside. They got to ride their bikes and scooters and play with Rosie. I got to finish cleaning the garage, not a fun job but one that had become necessary.

I'm currently trying to figure out what plants/shrubs I want to plant when the yard is done. The yard is going to change quite a bit. Some areas (once the fence is in) will be all shade...that will be very new to this yard! lol I know I want to plant more plants for humming birds (we had about six last year). I would also like to bring in more butterflies. So, if anyone has any ideas feel free to share. I could use the assist.

I think I figured out where to put the birdbath this year. We are going to have to move it because of the cats. Early last summer we had tons of birds about 3pm, then the cats came and the birds said, "I don't think so." Therefore, to keep the birds and the cats they have to be separated.

School is going well, though honestly we could be further along. Jesse is finally getting fractions (adding/subtracting). We are taking those in baby steps. Whatever she gets incorrect in class is homework. Needless to say, she does not liking getting them incorrect. I don't like homework either but that is the way it is sometimes.

Chloe is doing well, but I cannot get her to use what she is learning in Language in her speech. Again, we are taking baby steps on this on. She seems to hear a word she likes then uses all the time whether it makes sense or not. Baby steps.

John's job is going well, I suppose. He has a big meeting coming up, so he has been spending much of his time working on slides for the presentation. I know he'll do great. I just need to convince him it will be fine. But an hour of talking is quite a bit of talking for John.
