Our landscaper and our small world

Today, the yard work really began. Yes, it looked great last night after we came home from TKD, but today it is really taking on a new face. All of the grading has been completed. They started digging the trenches this afternoon. The way they work I believe they will be ready for the sod on Friday.

We were talking to our landscaper this morning about the yard and this and that, when he asked if the girls were out of school or if we homeschool. I told him we homeschool. Now, in case you don't know this is the same landscaper who worked for the builder and who we called to finish sodding the front yard. So, I was taken a bit back when he replied, "Hope homeschools." (Hope is his wife.) "Really?!" Then as we continue to talk I found out his wife and I have a mutual friend and we were both invited to attend the same "nature class" today. I opted out because I wanted to be at home in case there were questions. I still find it crazy how the big world of ours seems so small sometimes.
