Demolition begins

We finally started on the backyard this morning. Actually, I started yesterday clearing away logs and such the builder had so kindly left there for us. We now have a clear view of the property line from front to back (a little over 320') on both sides. The girls moved most of the bricks laying around in the backyard to a neat stack. John also fell a very tall, weird looking pine tree that was in our backyard. In fact, we cut down a bunch of trees but that one was by far the largest. He did a great job having it fall away from my favorite oak tree. There is also a place behind another small oak that is almost completely cleared. I just need to rake it...another day. The landscaper is hoping to come Tuesday or Wednesday. Depending on which day he starts will depend on whether we get sod by Friday or the following week. I am definitely keeping my fingers crossed for Friday. It is an exciting time in the Morgan household!
